The Tabernacle is created for a series of 18 etchings by the Danish artist Alexander Tovborg
The frames accentuate Tovborg’s etchings, transforming them into sculptural objects
Alexander Tovborg’s series of etchings are inspired by Purgatory, the second book in Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy.
In a new book Den Guddommelige Komedie Dante’s influential work is retold by author Ditlev Tamm based on etchings by Alexander Tovborg.
A limited number of the publication is sold together with a print in the custom-designed frame at BORCH Editions.
